The Durant Vineyard Pinot Noir is a luscious wine. Beautiful ruby in color, it opens with enticing aromas of bramble berries, rose petals and toffee on the nose. The tempting palate offers an array of red fruits. Strawberries and Bing cherries abound, with fine tannins that create tension and depth through a lifted mid-palate, leading to a smooth, velvety finish.
Durant Vineyard is, by any measure, one of the pioneer vineyards in Oregon. The site planted by the Durant Family was established in 1973 and the same family owns and farms it to this day. Set on the southern end of the Dundee Hills the dry farmed vineyard covers about 60 acres in size with a wide range of elevation topping out at about 600'.
